St Stephen’s College and the Hong Kong Holocaust & Tolerance Centre are very honored to host Mrs Eva Schloss MBE, the stepsister of world famous diarist Anne Frank. On Friday January 17, the College chapel was packed with SSC students who came to hear firsthand how such a prominent woman who had been through extreme adversity could rise again and embrace life to the fullest even at her young age of 90. A Holocaust survivor, peace activist, and international speaker, Mrs Schloss shared her remarkable story about how she met Anne Frank. Mrs Schloss also shared about her life in hiding, how she survived the concentration camp, and how her life was rebuilt afterwards. SSC students had the rare opportunity to engage directly with Mrs Schloss and spend the afternoon with her.
