Introduction

The world is becoming smaller and yet bigger at the same time. Students need to equip themselves with relevant skills and values to navigate this increasingly globalised and inter-connected world, the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) allows them to do exactly that.

The IBDP is a two-year programme that is well regarded by the world's leading tertiary education institutions. It is international not least because it is recognised worldwide, but also because it is a cross-cultural programme that truly enables students to see the world through both classroom and experiential learning.

The programme of IBDP primes students for higher academic attainment and all-rounded communicative skills. They are expected to demonstrate diligence in academic work and shoulder responsibilities in their respective leadership roles at school. Overall the IBDP is an academic and personal for students, as it really stretches them in all areas of development.

With the guidance of our teachers and career counsellor, IBDP students in SSC are able to make informed choices of the subjects that they should pursue. The school also works to meet their individual needs and subject choices every year.
